Mrs. Julia Barnstead
Fannin County Middle School Band Director/Color Guard Instructor
Mrs. Julia Barnstead is a native of Spartanburg, South Carolina. She graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Music in Education. She taught middle school band, middle school strings, and high school orchestra in Miami, Flordia; Anderson, South Carolina; and Newberry, South Carolina before coming to Fannin County.
The last four years Julia has been the Music, Art, and Drama teacher at West Fannin Elemetary School. We are glad to welcome her as the Fannin County Middle School band director and Fannin County High School Color Guard Instructor.
